Do your parents, friends or family really know what you do at school? Show your family what you can do!
On Tuesday 16 December 2025 we celebrate the first 100 days of your study with a Friends & Family Event. During this evening, parents, friends and family get to know the study, the teacher team and – most of all – your creativity and organising skills.
Programme of the evening:
- Opening together
- Classroom programme per group (80 minutes)
- Closing and short survey
- Afterparty and clean-up
You are responsible for the classroom programme, in which you make creative choices – and bring them into practice.
As a team, you choose one theme and design the activities. That theme is the base for your classroom programme.
So, you have to brainstorm together as a team. Questions to think about:
- What do we want to tell or show – and why?
What do we leave out – and why?
How should it look and feel? What atmosphere fits the target group?
How do we make it attractive for family and friends? - You make a moodboard that shows in one glance the atmosphere, the target group and the goal of your classroom programme.
- Write a short feasibility note: explain if your idea can really work (budget, time, resources). You do this by clicking the ‘Core’ button.
This way you combine creativity with reality. You show what inspires you, and how you make it concrete.

The client, in this case Albeda, has set some requirements. These are explained in the briefing. Read them carefully so you know the basics.

Why this assignment matters
In this task you learn to turn a creative idea into a feasible concept.
That is a skill you need in every career: testing your ideas on target group, content, feasibility and budget. You practise explaining your choices and working together – basic skills useful everywhere.
Tips: Making a moodboard
A moodboard is a collage – digital or on paper – that makes an idea, atmosphere or concept visible. It shows in one glance the direction you want to take.
For this Friends & Family Event you use the moodboard to show the atmosphere, the target group and goal of your 80-minute classroom programme.
Brainstorm together:
- What do we want to show? What fits the target group?
- First write or draw everything connected to your idea.
- Then choose what you do not want to use.
How to make it:
- Collect images, colours, words and symbols that fit your idea.
- Focus: select the elements that really show the core.
- Organise them so that an outsider immediately understands your plan.
Tools you can use:
- Paper: scissors, glue and paper – then take a photo and upload to Businessbase.
- Pinterest: very handy to collect images together and share easily (also with teacher)
- Digital: Canva, Milanote, PowerPoint or Keynote.
Important to know:
Your moodboard does not have to be artistic or perfect design.
The goal is that your idea and the atmosphere are clear – you do not have to be a graphic designer.
